Règles

All personnel (checkers, drivers, equipment operators) are required to wear work safety attire and high-visibility vests.

All personnel working in the container yard are required to wear helmets and steel-toed safety shoes when working near cranes or containers.

BMT personnel and clients must respect the right-of-way of gantry cranes and lifting equipment; these have priority over all other vehicles and pedestrians.

All personnel, including drivers and clients, must not pass under containers lifted by the gantry cranes.

For safety reasons, it is strictly prohibited to:Pass under gantry cranes while a container is being liftedWalk or drive on the crane travel pathsStand under containers being handled by equipment (RTG, Stacker, etc.)

 Drivers are required to obey all traffic signs and adhere to the posted speed limits, which are set at 15 km/h.

Drivers are required to follow these instructions during container handling:Position the tractor truck under the container to be receivedMove the trailer forward or backward to receive the unit when the container is ready to be placed on the trailer chassisEngage the locks and leave the yard once the container is properly secured on the trailer

Clients and any unauthorized personnel are not allowed to climb on gantry cranes or any other machinery and equipment.

Drivers are required to park and align their trailers carefully.

Accidents causing injuries or damage must be reported immediately.

The use of vehicles within the terminal, and specifically inside operational blocks and zones, is only permitted when transporting service personnel (Customs, Veterinary, Phytosanitary, or DCP).

No vehicles are allowed to park on the pathways of handling equipment (RTG, tractors, etc.); a dedicated parking area for vehicles is provided.

The consumption of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited within BMT.
