General Management

Within the scope of the powers granted by the Board of Directors of BMT Spa, the General Manager leads the company, provides guidance to its various departments, and ensures coordination among the company’s divisions.

Internal Audit Department

Conducts audits of procedures and assesses their effectiveness.

QHSE Department Head

Ensures

the sustainability of the QHSE management system through continuous improvement

Ensures

the management of the Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with the QHSE manual and Integrated Management procedures, following the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards

Analysis

Identifies the causes and impacts of non-conformities, recommends necessary corrective actions, and carries out follow-up checks to maintain the full effectiveness of the IMS.

CDN

Digitalization and IT Center

Based on a proximity-based management approach, the Digitalization and IT Center (DIC) aims to harmonize, streamline, and govern port systems. This requires restructuring and alignment to enhance services provided to clients, improve the competitiveness of the maritime transport sector, and implement a fully digital, interactive data exchange platform dedicated to facilitating port operations, easing trade, and offering comprehensive services to port stakeholders.

To achieve this objective, the DIC’s mission is to:

  • Standardize processes in terms of digitalization and automation of IT infrastructures.
  • Establish an IT master plan.

DO

Operations Department

Responsible for berth planning, allocation of resources—including teams and equipment—and overall management of the container terminal. It handles the cargo operations of container ships, including loading and unloading, and carries out stevedoring activities such as tracking deliveries, unpacking and packing containers, providing empty containers, handling refrigerated containers, and ensuring safety within the terminal.

    Ensures the management of operations at the terminal.

    Ensures the management of ship operations.

  • Resources Department

    Ensures optimal allocation of human and material resources.

Logistics Department

Ensures the management of logistics platforms.

    Monitors logistical resources and oversees overall logistics services.

DM

Marketing Department

Responsible for developing marketing plans (market analysis, target determination, action plans, selection of advertising strategies…) and involved in various functional areas of marketing such as strategy, services, and operations. Ensures coordination with all port stakeholders in alignment with the company’s marketing policy.

Marketing Service

Ensures the promotion of the company’s brand image and the implementation of the marketing and commercial plan.

Commercial Service

Handles the billing of services provided and the collection of receivables.

DFC

Finance and Accounting Department

Responsible for preparing the company’s financial statements and reports. It is composed of two services:

Accounting Service

Performs the verification and recording of all company transactions (purchases, sales, investments, etc.).

Finance and Budget Service

  • Monitors the execution of the company’s budget and oversees management accounting.
  • Manages the company’s cash flow.

Technical Department

Ensures preventive and corrective maintenance of the company’s equipment.

Technical Department

  • Equipment Service

    Ensures the maintenance of handling equipment (Reach Stackers, MT Handlers, forklifts, and other wheeled machinery…).

  • Service portiques

    Ensures the maintenance of quay cranes and mobile cranes.

  • Methods Service

    Implements the equipment maintenance plan.

Human Resources and Assets Department

Implements management systems aligned with the company’s strategy, ensuring a balance between economic requirements and employee expectations. The importance of this structure lies in attracting top talent and retaining them by providing optimal conditions, including a positive work environment, professional development, and appropriate training.

The HR and Assets Department is composed of:
